Recruitment teams within the sector also turn to Employee Referrals (80%) as a sourcing channel for help in filling jobs. However, Talent Pools/ATS/CRM have a low take up of just 40%.

When we look at how Hospitality sector recruiters are succeeding with talent attraction the Sourcing Quadrant shows a good mix of decent results. 

The reintroduction of events as a candidate sourcing channel impacts this sector to deliver a decent number of quality candidates.

Talent pooling has improved on last year for both quantity and quality of candidates despite seeing a drop in usage (54% - 2020/1 to 40% 2021/2). Employee referrals deliver a top quality of candidate but less so on quantity.

In the Hospitality sector, the levels of hiring see one of the highest increases for the coming year - 85%! The report also looks at how recruitment marketing budgets align to levels of hiring. An increase in budgets is anticipated by 44%, no change in budgets 41% and a decrease in budgets by 15%. So, it could be said that there is some work to do to deliver more with less.
