Venture Recruitment, experts in Retail, Hospitality, Marketing and HR recruitment, today launched their new website http://www.venture-recruitment.co.uk. The new site features a host of advanced technology aimed at enhancing their ability to engage a higher quantity and quality of candidates, ultimately benefiting both candidates and client alike.

Designed using ‘mobile-first’ principles by recruitment technology specialists Eploy, candidates can search, apply and interact directly with the Eploy CRM all the way to offer stage using their smartphones or tablets.

In addition candidates can also enjoy:

  • CV and document upload from cloud-storage services (Google Drive, Dropbox or One Drive).
  • Social registration- means candidates with Venture can register, login and apply for roles using their favourite social network – including LinkedIn, Google + and Facebook.
  • CV Parsing technology means Venture candidates don’t need to complete long registration forms because the system will intelligently pick out information for them.

Candidates can now login to the Venture site at any time to access their applications, update their profile, set their job alert preferences, view the status of their applications and even arrange their interviews.

Venture also take advantage of Eploy’s content management functionality, enabling staff to update and manage website content including staff profiles and news as well as manage all of their active jobs.

The site is fully integrated with Eploy, the cloud-based recruitment platform, and was designed and built by Eploy’s in-house design team working in close collaboration with the team at Venture. Until recently Venture had been using recruitment software from a US vendor, however they felt that the training and after-sales service they received, which was carried out remotely, meant that their team couldn’t get best value from the product. By working with Eploy, a UK recruitment software company with a proven implementation methodology, Venture are now able to take full advantage of a modern, cloud-based Recruitment CRM and fully connected website.

The change means that Venture Recruitment can continue to support their organisational growth. Commenting on the launch of their new website, Venture director and co-founder Elliot Clements said “When we started to look into replacing our website we soon realised that to seamlessly integrate it with our previous CRM would have been really quite complicated, not to mention expensive.

We also found that our consultants, for whatever reason, were not actually using the system. Eploy put together a comprehensive offer which meant that our website and our CRM would be with one single provider – one bill each month, one support line, one training provider and a really intuitive system for our consultants, our clients and our candidates.

The icing on the cake was the comprehensive face to face training they offered. The team at Eploy were on hand to make sure consultants were properly sold on the system and Calum, from Eploy’s support team, delivered some really engaging technical training. The team were up and running really quickly and more importantly, WANTING to use the system! I’m really looking forward to working with Eploy long into the future.”

Eploy Chief Technology Officer Chris Bogh said “Venture have raised the bar for what a modern, recruitment agency website should look and work like. We know from our recent survey of 600 UK recruiters that agency websites are underperforming those of direct employers – ranking them lower in terms of candidate quality and quantity generated. Venture’s site builds on our experience of working with many in-house recruiters as well as agencies on their award winning websites and offers a far more candidate-centric experience.

“We are also delighted that Venture have moved to Eploy’s cloud-based Recruitment CRM, we’ve greatly enjoyed working with Elliot and the team at Venture and wish them every success for the future.”
