Lisa Gardener, Recruitment and Training Manager at TCFM, called upon Eploy to bring recruitment in line with their ‘people first and foremost’ company ethos, making it quick and easy to welcome all new colleagues into the TCFM family.

A flexible recruitment platform

TCFM chose to implement Eploy’s fully automated recruitment platform to override existing time-consuming processes. Eploy gives TCFM the flexibility to configure the user-friendly system specifically for their requirements, with a breadth of functionalities.

Eploy is providing the core talent acquisition and recruitment platform and hiring manager portal that is now delivering an improved candidate experience. The dedicated candidate portal allows them to search and apply for roles, also showing what it is like working for TCFM and the core company values.

A supportive approach to implementation

Commenting on the project, Lisa Gardener said: “The Eploy implementation process and team were flexible to our changing requirements. We condensed the configuration phase of the project to achieve an earlier go-live date and the Eploy team was supportive and accommodating to achieve this.

We were able to set access permissions and configure the core Eploy platform based on our requirements. For example, security for vacancy templates is based on business area and the hiring manager’s profile, with authoriser levels to approve vacancies before going live on the website. We are now managing recruitment more efficiently and handling the volume of applications in a coordinated way for our permanent, contract and temporary roles.”

Candidate experience at the forefront

The candidate experience uses one registration form and a simple application form. Moving the candidate through the recruitment workflow is customised based on role type so hiring managers or core system users can manage the process depending on the requirement.

The flexible onboarding process flow allows differing offer letters and contracts for specific vacancy levels. For example, a two-stage onboarding process is in place for Security roles and contract-specific agreements. At any time, the recruitment team can see where candidates are at specified onboarding statuses and they can see file attachments as well as reference requests.

TCFM has integrated Eploy successfully into their HR and Payroll system to remove the need for manual data entry of new starter information, providing the end-to-end platform to recruit and onboard candidates effectively.
