Dentex Health is a rapidly growing co-ownership dental business. Since launching almost five years ago, it has quickly grown to over 85 dental practices, with ambitious, on-track growth expectations to achieve more than 150-member practices by 2022.

Dentex chose Eploy’s complete ATS & E-recruitment platform to automate their recruitment practices to attract, engage, recruit and onboard. The project aims to help their partners grow and thrive while independently maintaining their brand and unique set of values.

Previously, there was no recruitment system at Dentex. Instead, the company had a heavily manual and time-consuming recruitment process. Dentex required an end-to-end solution to encompass everything from vacancy requests through to onboarding their new hires successfully. Gathering data along the way and providing a world-class experience was vital.

Collaborative recruiting

As Practice Managers have extensive ownership for their clinics and recruitment decisions, they are heavily involved in the end-to-end process. Dentex recognised the need for improved collaboration to create a more effective working partnership with every stakeholder in the recruitment journey having the right tools, at the right time, in the right place.

Every practice and vacancy can be different, and Eploy provides the tools to manage this from end-to-end while improving the candidate and hiring manager experience. The dedicated careers area uses the Dentex and practice brands and allows candidates to search for vacancies or register for job alerts. It’s easy for candidates to register using social profiles and upload a CV which is parsed automatically.

Joined-up recruitment practice

Dentex uses Eploy’s multi-posting tool to connect to their preferred Job Board partners, ensuring rapid job advertising. From within Eploy, the team can see all of the jobs posted to Job Boards, their status, start and end dates, and update and remove ads directly.

Rebecca Higson, Recruitment Manager at Dentex, said, “Our previous recruitment process was time-consuming and meant we could lose good candidates – we needed to reduce time to hire and drop off rates and improve the user experience. Handling CVs through an inbox was unmanageable and could not be sustained alongside our desire to improve and grow as a business. Using Eploy, we now work collaboratively and have reduced touchpoints and response times through automation - all in a GDPR compliant way. We can now reallocate time to value-add work that would have been previously spent on manual activities such as reporting via spreadsheets or interview scheduling, for example.”
