Agencies were used by 48% of education recruitment teams in 2019, but fell to 33% in 2020, yet they were rated highest for candidate quality..

Having a great careers site is one of the ways to attract a decent quantity and quality of candidates. However, ATS/CRM tools and Employee Referrals are delivering a decent level of quality candidates but less quantity - which could assist with a sector challenge of too many applicants. 

Other channels, like Specialist Job Boards has seen increased use (56%) and improved ranking for high quality and quantity of candidates. Compare this to Social Media, used by 52% in the Education sector, but under performs in attracting and nurturing candidates.
