The UK Government has issued sanctions relating to Russia, and in response there is an increased threat of retaliatory cyber attacks on the UK. Customers have asked how the conflict and sanctions might affect Eploy’s services.

Ukraine disruption
Eploy is not reliant on any products or services from Ukraine.

Russian sanctions
Eploy has no Russian customers or reliance on any products or services from Russia. We have verified this with a supply chain review. We will continue to monitor sanction activity against Russia and any other countries the UK Government takes action against.

Cyber attacks
We have bolstered Eploy’s existing security status in the following ways:

  • Added a second vulnerability scanning service
  • Scheduled penetration test mid-March 2022
  • Increased our regular phishing training exercises
  • Obtained membership of CiSP (The Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership, a joint industry and government initiative set up to allow UK organisations to share cyber threat information in a secure and confidential environment)
  • Subscribed to National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Early Warning monitoring service (a service designed to alert of potential cyber attacks as soon as possible. The service uses a variety of information feeds from the NCSC, trusted public, commercial and closed sources, which includes several privileged feeds which are not available elsewhere).

Staff at Eploy continue to be involved with fundraising and donating humanitarian aid delivered to Ukraine. Our thoughts are with the people of Ukraine.
