Keeping your LinkedIn profile up to date is an important milestone in keeping your your online reputation in tip top shape. Here are our three quick tips to improving how your LinkedIn profile looks and feels.

 

1. Personalised URL

You can personalise your LinkedIn URL so that the URL includes your name. If you use your LinkedIn profile on your email footer, this gives a much more professional impression than the standard URL.

2. Background Image

A background image can improve the look and feel of your profile. Make sure the dimensions are between 1000 x 425 and 4000 x 4000 pixels.

 

3. Media

You can add documents, photos, links, videos or presentations to your summary or job position. You can use this to show off products, achievements or portfolios using more than just plain text.
