Eploy is the latest organisation to sign up to the #iwill campaign, supporting young people making a difference in their communities through volunteering, campaigning or fundraising. Eploy, a leading provider of cloud-based recruitment software, have pledged to support youth social action, making it part of life for as many 10 to 20 year-olds as possible by the year 2020.

Eploy have pledged to:

  1. Champion youth social action and its positive effect on employability across our networks
  2. Support all customers that wish to embed social action into their recruitment processes.
  3. Recognise the value of skills developed through social action by including it as part of our own internal recruitment processes.

Commenting on the news, Eploy CTO Chris Bogh said, “It is important that candidates and employers alike recognise the role that social action and voluntary experience can play in improving young people’s career prospects.

“Here at Eploy we’re proud to announce our support for the #iwill campaign. We hope that our pledge will go some way to championing the cause of youth social action.”

Welcoming the pledge, Charlotte Hill, CEO of the charity coordinating the #iwill campaign, said, “Research shows that young people want to do more in their communities, but often lack the opportunities, or awareness of the benefits of getting involved in youth social action. Pledges of support, from organisations such as Eploy, are vital to driving forward awareness of the benefits and creating new opportunities for involvement”.

Through collaboration and partnership the #iwill campaign is spreading the word about the benefits of youth social action, working to embed it in the journey of young people and creating fresh opportunities for the participation. The campaign is being coordinated by the charity Step Up To Serve, and was set up in 2013 by Patron HRH the Prince of Wales, alongside the Conservative, Liberal Democrat and Labour party leaders.
