Kidderminster (UK) Eploy, a leading provider of recruitment software today announce they are now certified to both the IASME Governance Standard and the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials requirement for information security.

IASME Governance Standard

The IASME Governance standard, based on international best practice, is risk-based and includes aspects such as physical security, staff awareness, and data backup. The UK Government recently recognised the IASME framework as the best cyber security standard for small companies when in consultation with trade associations and industry groups.

Cyber Essentials Scheme

The UK Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme focuses on the five most important technical security controls. The UK Government believes that if these controls had been in place, the majority of cyber attacks in recent years could have been thwarted. IASME is one of just four companies appointed as Accreditation Bodies for assessing and certifying against the Government's Cyber Essentials Scheme.
IASME believe that certification against both the Governance Standard and the Cyber Essentials indicates a good level of all-round information security.

Eploy CTO Chris Bogh said, “We take information security extremely seriously. It is our responsibility to ensure that both our own and our customers’ data is as secure as possible. While we already had extensive security policies and procedures in place, formalising our security management within the IASME framework provides additional peace of mind to current and prospective customers that with Eploy security is at the heart of everything we do.”
