With 10 sites spanning 8 locations across Somerset, Devon and London there is quite a broad range of roles on offer at Yeo Valley, from hospitality to technical, to dairy operations and engineers.

With this diverse range of roles, a strong set of values and some snazzy perks of working with the Yeo Valley team, it became ever more important that the candidate experience and strong Yeo Valley brand was at the forefront of the careers area.

Before working with Eploy to implement a complete recruitment platform the recruitment process and the candidate experience was disjointed and siloed. There was very little visibility of the complete end-to-end journey, internal and external candidates or reporting of KPI’s.

The new careers website has been designed for a smooth candidate experience that embraces the brand principles to showcase the company story and what it’s like working at Yeo. Eploy’s candidate portal has been seamlessly integrated into the website to provide an on-brand, intuitive application and registration process that helps to convert visitors to candidates.

Candidates visiting the careers site can find, search and apply for relevant roles and manage their application on any device. Candidates can also register for job alerts in their chosen area and login to the candidate portal using their preferred social network profiles.

The core Eploy system supports proactive recruitment through talent pooling, where talent can be nurtured through the powerful search and segmentation tools and email & SMS marketing.

It’s not just candidates that are receiving an improved experience but throughout the business too; recruiters and hiring managers are working together collaboratively through a transparent view of the recruitment journey where performance, timescales and costs can be managed.
