When AIM listed company Charteris plc, an IT consultancy that specialises in business change through the strategic application of technology, looked to streamline its corporate selection and hiring function, it turned to eploy® to provide its market leading web-based solution.

The Challenge

More and more human resource departments are looking to recruitment software to find, assess and hire new talent to their organisation. The hosted service, which was researched & recommended by Charteris' supplier of choice, Crimson Ltd, a recognised leader in the field of recruitment, managed services and solution provision, has allowed a centralised repository for all CV's and contact history including salary expectations, contract rates and interview performance to allow the business to find, engage and recruit the right calibre of staff as efficiently and quickly as possible.

"eploy® reduces the need for filing CV's and allows us to track where candidates come from. This is important as Charteris runs an internal referral scheme so we have to know if a candidate was recommended from someone internally or whether they came from an external source as both incur a fee. In the past the only record of this was emails and it was difficult and time consuming to manage," said Emma Dredge, Charteris' Recruitment Manager.
